We had a wonderful time, at a spectacular location, with incredible hosts, all topped off with a scrumptious breakfast. We are looking forward to staying there again!
My partner and I stayed in the Queen room over the May long weekend. We had a wonderful stay at the Beacon Shore on Georgian Bay Bed & Breakfast! Our room was charming, thoughtfully decorated, and had the most comfortable bed (and of course, was very clean). Breakfast was possibly our favourite part, everything was delicious and we loved the selection of unusual and wonderful jams (although it's hard to pick just one favourite part about our stay - the view from our room was stunning and hard to compete with)! Jacquie and Bob were great hosts, easy to reach by phone or email, and had plenty of tips and recommendations for the area. I would gladly recommend their bed and breakfast!
This is the first review I have made of theBeacon Shore B&B. Unfortunately, there was a previous review made under my name which was unintentional and was caused by a technical malfunction.My wife and I stayed at the Beacon Shore B&B for a four day stay in August of 2016.Jacquie and Bob gave us a very warm welcome and were very knowledgable of the Georgian Bay area. They gave us tips on things to do and driving directions. And, boy, did we need directions.Our suite was located in the basement, king size bed, en suite bathroom, very spacious with lots of very comfortable furniture.Their home is right on the water and surrounded by acres of gardens and forest. Beautiful.Each day we were offered a choice of breakfasts which included a variety of fresh fruits and juices as well as home made breads and jams. The breakfast was plentiful and nutritious.We loved our stay and will definitely return.Without hesitation I recommend this B&B to anyone who plans to visit the area, and to those who just want to visit a great B&B.
We took the Georgian Suite and the place was just gorgeous! Host - lovely folk who were welcoming and served good breakfasts. Jacky was very knowledgeable on the surrounding bike trails too.. Room - was clean and spacious and do was the bathroomLocation - this was the icing on the cake. Beautiful view of the sunrise over the bayHighly recommend
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night visit and would love to visit again. The hosts take great pride in their property and home. Our breakfasts were delicious and expertly presented with attention to the finest details. I would highly recommend this B&B. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations to area restaurants and attractions.
