Solid place, and we had a good experience with the Pharmacy Counter, which is the main thing. They were very helpful and professional when getting prescriptions filled. The store is kind of an older school shoppers, and even still has an Easy Pix counter! Along with typical Cosmetics, Post Office, etc. It was well stocked, and the aisles were clean & clear.
I am extremely dissatisfied with my shoppers drug mart experience. I have spent 6+ hours on the phone being referred to multiple support agents over the past 6 days. This is completely unacceptable I will be moving my services to another competitor because of the wasted time I have experienced. They have yet to fix my current issue, I recommend using any pharmacy other than Shoppers. Sincerely Adam Titus
I was at Shoppers Drug Mart on Highway 93 in Midland around 11:30 AM on Nov 11. I paid $75 cash for a $73.09 purchase at the pharmacy counter. The older lady working there didn’t give me my receipt or change. When I asked, she said she didn’t know where the receipt was and that I “wouldn’t need it.” I told her I needed it for my records, and she handed me a random paper that wasn’t a receipt. I went to the front cashier (possibly the manager) to explain, and she confirmed it wasn’t a receipt. She went to the back, came out with my $2 change, and later returned with my receipt — but in a taunting tone said the other lady claimed she’d already given me the change. I told her mistakes happen, but lying isn’t okay. It’s not about the $2 — it’s about integrity and professionalism. Very disappointing experience. I’ll be switching my pharmacy.
shoppers drug Mart pharmacy team on hwy 93 in Midland are very compassionate while busily serving over 20,000 clients which is a huge number of people to serve. but Brian Falcone, the head pharmacist -owner is very caring but is unavailable most of the time if an issue or problem occurs. according to his pharmacy team, he doesn't work everyday and they can't contact him on the clients behalf because he doesn't have an extension to contact if any issues occur. my main complaint is that the deliveries are not scheduled which creates a problem and a time constraint for me.peter Peter, who is one of their busy dedicated drivers told me they attempt 2 unscheduled deliveries and if I'm not home on either unscheduled delivery , then I'm expected to go to shoppers and get my medicine and medical supplies. the pharmacist team is actually making more work for their drivers and me by taking the chance that the client is going to be home and sign for an unscheduled delivery!!!! which is inefficient and time consuming to say the least. I don't expect the delivery to be delivered at a certain time considering the large catchment area they deliver to but the date they deliver should be scheduled with me to make sure I'm home should suit my schedule too so I can sign for the delivery. I think shoppers drug mart should print out a regional delivery system and contact their clients by placing a note in their client's delivery elling clients which day they deliver to which town or location. the note should say: dear shoppers drug mart client this is the day we will be delivering to your address. if you are not going to be home please contact our store and make arrangements to pick
Always a pleasant shopping experience for all you Pharmacy needs and personal products that you need every day. I truly enjoy the great customer service. The staff is always very nice and friendly. And knowledgeable about all the products carried at Shoppers Drug mart.
We just bought some coke from this location over the weekend and was wondering why it all tasted flat and gross. Well that because they had coke from December 2024 on the shelf still. As a former shoppers employee I am so disappointed by this especially because I made sure our pop section was rotated every time we got a shipment!
Before the Loblaws buyout, SDM was a cost effective place to buy everyday essentials. Now these items are priced at Convenience Store rates. The dispensing fees are also high. They are half at Pharmasave in Orangeville. .
